BPM Player  ·  Last updated: April 2026

No data collection

BPM Player does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting that leaves your device, and no advertising.

What stays on your device

The app saves the following information locally on your Mac only — it never leaves your device:

· Your playlist (file references and track metadata such as title, artist, and BPM)
· The last output folder chosen in the converter
· Your playback preferences

This data is stored using macOS standard user preferences and is only used to restore your session the next time you open the app.

File access

BPM Player reads audio files you explicitly open or drag into the app. It can write to those same files only when you choose to edit their metadata tags. The app never scans or accesses files outside of what you select.

Network

BPM Player makes no network requests. There are no servers, no accounts, and no internet connection required or used.

Third-party SDKs

BPM Player contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children

BPM Player does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the privacy practices of BPM Player change, this page will be updated. The date at the top reflects when the policy was last revised.
